John Inverdale is in hot water after implying that Kate Middleton struggles with understanding rugby rules. On Saturday, March 18, Middleton and Prince William watched the rugby match between Wales and France. When the camera panned to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, BBC presenter Inverdale made shameful comments about Middleton, Express reported. “I don’t know exactly how au fait with the rules Kate is, but I assume she must have been struggling a bit in the last 20 minutes,” said Inverdale. “And she wasn’t alone.” Viewers did not like Inverdale’s comments and turned to social media to fire back. “#Inverdale, unreal sexism again,” Sarah Catriona wrote on Twitter. “As an alumna of the public school Marlborough, the #DuchessofCambridge would surely know the rules of rugby #inverdal

The Duchess of Cambridge travelled to South Wales on Wednesday to meet vulnerable and disadvantaged families who are being supported by the charity, Action for Children. Kate took over the patronage from Her Majesty the Queen in December, and during her first engagement as patron, the Duchess saw two of the charity's projects. A spokesman for Prince William's wife had previously said that Kate was "incredibly proud" to follow in the Queen's footsteps. "The Duchess firmly believes that every child who needs it should be given the best support at the earliest opportunity, and is pleased to support their important work," they said. "She is looking forward to getting to know the people that make Action for Children such a success and meeting the young people they work with." Kate, who l...

Kate is expected to mark the occasion privately with the Duke of Cambridge and her children Prince George and Princess Charlotte, ahead of her first public engagements of the new year. There were no clues about how she would spend her special day when she appeared with the Royal Family at church in Sandringham on Sunday where the Queen was in attendance for the first time since a heavy cold kept her away from services over the festive period. Kate, wearing a grey furry hat and a forest green coat and black heels, walked the short distance to the church with smartly-dressed William. But there was no sign of George or Charlotte. The rest of the Middleton family, Kate's sister Pippa, mother Carole, father Michael and brother J...

At 90 years of age, Queen Elizabeth II is battling “heavy cold” triggering concern among Britons over her health. Although Princess Anne said that her mother is feeling “better,” the queen’s health scare had led to speculation whether she will retire from her royal duties. Succession to the British throne is established by descent, gender (for those born before October 2011), legitimacy and religion. After the queen, the throne will be passed on to her son Prince Charles. But his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, is unlikely to become the next queen of England due to her troubled past with Britons over her relationship with Charles while he was still married to Princess Diana. Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, follows his father in line to the throne and his wife Duchess of Cambr

Who Was Queen Before Elizabeth II? Timeline Of British Rulers Before The Longest Reigning Monarch

Queen Elizabeth II, Royality
Queen Elizabeth II is currently battling a "heavy cold" that has forced the monarch to skip annual royal holiday celebrations, including Christmas and New Year services, giving rise to speculation that the longest reigning monarch might have to leave her royal duties due to health concerns. She is the second woman to rule the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, which formed in 1801 after a unified Kingdom of Great Britain merged with the Kingdom of Ireland. The only other woman in that place was her great-great-grandmother Queen Victoria, who took the throne in 1837 when she was 18 and ruled until her death in 1901. She was the last monarch of Britain from the House of Hanover, and was succeeded by her son, King Edward VII, who belonged to her husband's House of Saxe-Coburg and...

From Queen Elizabeth’s funeral to Charles’ coronation AS the Queen continues to battle a heavy cold, Britons are wond ering what will happen when she eventually dies. The Queen has been fighting to shake off the cold for almost a fortnight and missed Christmas and New Year’s Day church services at Sandringham. On December 30, Buckingham Palace was forced to deny rumours that the Queen had died after rumours of her demise spread on Twitter. A fake BBC News Twitter account tweeted: “BREAKING: Buckingham Palace announces the death of Queen Elizabeth II at the age of 90. Circumstances are unknown.
