Queen Elizabeth II, Royality
The Queen’s jewellers will be exhibiting a collection of “naturalistic” pieces designed to look like creatures such as bees, butterflies and beetles at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower show. Bentley & Skinner, jewellers by royal appointment to The Queen and the Prince of Wales, will have its first stand at London’s flower show next week. Sales director Omar Vaja told the Standard “hundreds” of pieces — costing between £1,500 and £80,000 — created by the team’s craftsmen will be on display at a stand made to look like a garden. There will, he added, “be something for everyone”, with simpler necklaces costing about £500 also on sale. Charles III rule plunges the monarchy into chaos and sees Britain descend into an anarchy not seen since the London riots

Prince Charles, Royality
King Charles III nearly changed show to include Brexit bill: 'What if he refused to sign?’ The makers of BBC drama King Charles III considered changing the story to include a Brexit bill, it has been revealed. In the one-off film which aired last night, a fictional Prince Charles (played by Tim Pigott-Smith) was seen refusing to give the Royal Assent to a privacy law that would restrict the freedom of the press. However, there was talk of changing the legislation from privacy to Brexit in the wake of the European Union (EU) referendum in June last year. Prince Charles, Royality
The BBC is again under attack, this time for having the temerity to broadcast Mike Bartlett’s 2014 play, King Charles III. Bartlett imagined what might happen if Prince Charles ever succeeds his mother, depicting a conflict between a stubborn monarch and a government wanting to regulate the press. When Charles makes his opposition public he discovers that the people back the prime minister and is forced to abdicate. Along the way, Bartlett paints the royals in an unflatteringly disputatious light – and even has Princess Diana’s ghost make an appearance. Given revelations about Charles’ secret attempts to meddle in government business, the play only exaggerates for dramatic effect what we know about him and the political influence the British constitution still grants leading royals. Des

Catherine Duchess of Cambridge, Royality
A controversial new BBC drama imagines Charles becoming king amid a constitutional crisis-and the Duchess of Cambridge Seizing her opportunity: Kate the power player Even with a hairnet to keep her swept-back brunette mane immaculately coiffed between scenes and a pink hot-water bottle clutched to her stomach to stave off the cold, Charlotte Riley looks the spitting image of the Duchess of Cambridge. We don’t immediately think of Kate as a ‘tough cookie’ who won’t back down from a fight, but that’s how Peaky Blinders star Charlotte portrays her in controversial new BBC2 drama King Charles III. ‘This is Kate behind-closed-doors,’ she says. ‘I like to think she’s as feisty and forthright in private as she is in our show.’ We’re at Wentworth Woodhouse near Rotherham in South Yor
