Breaking News: The Queen attends State Opening of Parliament with Prince Charles after Prince Philip is hospitalised The Duke of Edinburgh, 96, is in hospital receiving treatment for an infection The Queen was joined by her eldest son Prince Charles as she attended a 'dressed down' State Opening of Parliament on Wednesday morning. Shortly after 11 o'clock, the Queen was seen leaving Buckingham Palace with her son Charles. In a break with tradition, Her Majesty opted for an elegant floral day dress and a matching hat, shunning the traditional Robe of State and the glittering Imperial State Crown. She and Charles also t...

Prince William is back to work. On Thursday, in his role as an air ambulance rescue pilot, the royal dad helped airlift a patient to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge — not far from where he is based with the East Anglian Air Ambulance service. William and his fellow pilot helped paramedics transfer the patient to the top hospital. The return to work came after William, Princess Kate and their children Prince George and Princess Charlotte celebrated the holidays in Kate’s hometown of Bucklebury. The family is thought to have since returned to their country home in Norfolk, Anmer Hall. Now there is another celebration on the calendar: Kate turns 35 on Monday, which the family may well mark at Anmer. Last year, the royal mom welcomed her family and close friends to stay for a long wee
Ed Sheeran squirmed when questioned about the night Princess Beatrice sliced his face open with a sword and explained he’s not allowed to speak about it. In November, The Sun revealed that in a party prank gone wrong, the princess accidentally cut Sheeran’s cheek below his eye as she tried to knight James Blunt — leaving the singer having to go to hospital to get stitches. On Friday morning, as Sheeran told BBC Radio 1 that he’d been hanging out with the “Game of Thrones” cast, co-host Chris Stark joked that that’s where he’d have thought “the incident with the sword” would have happened. However, Sheeran suddenly became very cagey. “Yeah … there’s … I don’t know if I can talk about that, you know,” he said awkwardly. To which host Scott Mills asked: “What the sword?” as the singer,
