Prince William, Royality
Presenter Martin Lewis has told of his admiration for Prince William and Prince Harry in choosing to speak publicly about the death of their mother, as he admitted his struggle to talk about his own similar experience. The money and mental health campaigner said he still finds it difficult to come to terms with losing his own mother in a car crash when he was a child. Speaking about the royal brothers’ recent comments about the late Princess Diana, he said: “I found it difficult to watch. “I was 12 when I lost my mum in a car accident, like Prince Harry, and his bravery in being able to talk about it is something I cannot applaud enough.” A patron of children’s bereavement charity Grief Encounter, he continued: “I almost said no to becoming a patron because I would have to

Ed Sheeran ‘not Allowed’ To Discuss Princess Beatrice Sword Incident

Princess Beatrice, Royality
Ed Sheeran squirmed when questioned about the night Princess Beatrice sliced his face open with a sword and explained he’s not allowed to speak about it. In November, The Sun revealed that in a party prank gone wrong, the princess accidentally cut Sheeran’s cheek below his eye as she tried to knight James Blunt — leaving the singer having to go to hospital to get stitches. On Friday morning, as Sheeran told BBC Radio 1 that he’d been hanging out with the “Game of Thrones” cast, co-host Chris Stark joked that that’s where he’d have thought “the incident with the sword” would have happened. However, Sheeran suddenly became very cagey. “Yeah … there’s … I don’t know if I can talk about that, you know,” he said awkwardly. To which host Scott Mills asked: “What the sword?” as the singer,

Prince Charles, Royality
Many people in the U.K. believe that Prince Charles is not fit to be King. In the U.K.’s constitutional democracy, Queen Elizabeth is nominally the head of state, a role that she has fulfilled with grace since 1953. Even those who view the monarchy as an anachronistic institution have a grudging respect for the Queen, but the same cannot be said of her heir Prince Charles. The monarch is supposed to remain above politics, something that Prince Charles seems unable to do. As reported in the Guardian earlier this year, the so-called “Black Spider Memos” showed that Charles has regularly lobbied government ministers over issues that many would argue he directly benefited from. It seems that “Prince Charles filled ministers’ pigeon-holes with idiosyncratic lobbying letters covering an aston

How Prince Charles’ Wife Camilla Could Go From Mistress To Majesty?

Queen Elizabeth II, Royality
At 90-years-old, Queen Elizabeth II has officially entered her twilight: she's stepped down as patron from 20 charities "to lighten her work load," and is currently battling the 13th day of a "heavy cold" that forced the monarch to skip out on annual royal holiday celebrations. All this has brought to light the inevitable question of who replaces the queen, as her 68-year-old son Prince Charles is set to become the first king since 1952. Whether Charles' wife Camilla Parker Bowles, the Duchess of Cornwall and heir apparent of Queen Elizabeth II, will be given the ceremonial title when her husband assumes the throne, has remained unclear. Though the public’s perception of Prince Charles’ second wife has softened in recent years, Bowles has had a complicated relationship with the British

Prince William and Kate Middleton enjoyed an extra special visit during the second day of their Royal tour of Canada on Sunday, spending time with children around the same age as Prince George and Princess Charlotte. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge paid a visit to Sheway in Vancouver, a program dedicated to pregnant women as well as women with infants under 18 months who are battling drug and alcohol addiction. They met a 5-year-old named Hailey at one point during the visit. The toddler had been taken away from her mother as a baby due to drug issues but was reunited with her at 3-years-old with the help of Sheway. Hailey presented the couple with incredibly thoughtful gifts for George and Charlotte: two teddy bears, customized in red and black vests. "I love your dress, it's so p...

Heroic bus driver: This brave driver sacrificed her life to save a 10 year old child!   An Ohio school bus driver is being hailed as a hero after tossing a child out of the way of a rolling bus Tuesday morning before the vehicle rolled over the driver herself and she was killed. "She sacrificed her own life to save the life of this 10-year-old girl," said Akron police Lt. Rick Edwards. The bus driver has been identified as 51-year-old Laura Zborowski of Akron. Edwards said the bus pulled up beside Middlebury Academy in Akron and Zborowski asked the students to perform routine evacuation drills. The students, about 40 children ranging from kindergartners to eighth-graders, first exited the bus at the front and lined up single file on the sidewalk as instructed. They th...
