Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ‘WEDDING announcement coming’
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to get engaged ahead of a romantic stay in South Africa, it has been claimed.
The couple, who struck up a relationship last year, are reportedly planning a stay at the Maliba Mountain Lodge in Lesotho later this year – by which time it is thought they’ll be engaged.
According to the Daily Mail, “well-placed sources” say news of the wedding will be made “fairly soon” and almost certainly before the end of the year.
It comes just days after the Royal heartthrob was spotted kissing his actress girlfriend after he competed in the Audi Polo Challenge in Ascot, Berkshire.
Meghan is also reportedly going to attend Prince William’s sister-in-law, Pippa Middleton’s forthcoming wedding – said to be another sign she and Harry are in it for the long haul.
Friends close to the pair have apparently said the date to watch is August 4 – Meghan’s birthday and the late Queen Mother’s.
The Autumn trip to South Africa could be significant because that is where Harry’s big brother William proposed to Kate Middleton in 2010.
Wills got down on one knee in the foothills of Mount Kenya in what was undoubtedly an incredibly romantic proposal.
Last week, the Queen is said to have told both Princes to stop “soul baring” and be more statesmanlike in public.
Both of them recently featured in campaigns speaking about their mental struggles following the death of their mother, Princess Diana.
